Vineyards:
Grapes from our own vineyards located in Vista Flores,
Tunuyán, Valle de Uco at 1054 ma.s.l. We have a sandy
loam soil in the heights of the farm and rocks of alluvial
origin emerge in the ground. The irrigation system is
-, EGARGENTIN dripped with water from the thaws of the high peaks.
Elaboration:
The grapes were harvested in the first half of April.
They were made by cold maceration at a temperature
between 6-8*C of 2 days.
They were then fermented at controlled temperature
23-26*C in small stainless steel tanks, with yeasts
pre-selected for this varietal
A controlled malolactic fermentation was also performed,
achieving that once finished the same, 30% of the wine is
aged in first and second use barrels, while the rest is stored
in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit and its freshness.
Tasting notes:
Intense reddish tones. Spicy, highly complex fruit and
spices typical of the variety. The aromas of chocolate
and sweets from French oak ageing also stand out.
In the mouth it has a good volume due to its wood.
